    HOW FAR did an object fall if it fell for 3 seconds?

    gravity(acceleration) g=10 m per s squared

    4) equation 5) Plug and chug
    d=1/2 gt squared d=1/2 (10)m/s(3s)squared
    5m/s squared(9)sec squared
    d=45
    Then we got into 6 groups of 3 to calculate the time it takes for the book to fall.
    Find the distance from the floor to the ceiling? Try it for g=32 ft/s squared
